Israel reported last week that it would cut back on energy supplies to the Gaza strip which is home to the controversial Hamas organisation. According to Israel, the cut backs is a direct consequnce of the Palestinian Authority limiting the payments for electricity to Israel.
“We in Hamas do not initiate wars and we do not expect one, this is our political assessment,”

Meanwhile, a member of the Palestinian Authority reports that Palestine have been in talks with Egypt to purchase fuel needed to drive the Palestinian energy consumption. This is following a delegation of Palestinian officials and members of Hamas to Cairo to engage in talks on various subjects
